Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), expressed his ambition to bring the cryptocurrency into the top five by market cap within the next five years. Kusama's statement came in response to an AI-generated painting that depicted a chaotic workspace, symbolizing the effort required to give utility to a memecoin like SHIB. Currently ranked 13th with a market cap of $15.27 billion, SHIB would need to increase its market cap by over 500% to reach the top five, surpassing BNB's valuation of $94.23 billion. Kusama was appointed as the leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem in May 2022 and has been working to transform it from a memecoin to a utility project.
