Tron creator Justin Sun ate the $6.2 million banana from Maurizio Cattelan's "Comedian" sculpture at an open event in Hong Kong. He filmed himself peeling and taking a bite of the banana, earning cheers from the audience. Sun later announced that he will buy 100,000 bananas from a New York fruit vendor and distribute them worldwide. He had previously purchased the banana artwork at a Sotheby's auction and expressed his desire to eat it as part of the artistic experience. Sun is the third person to have reportedly eaten the banana, following a South Korean student and a New York performance artist.
