Ripple's Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz, expressed his gratitude towards Elon Musk for the improvements and additions to SpaceX's Starlink project, which provides high-speed internet access to remote areas. Schwartz's message resonated with the crypto community on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing their recognition of Musk's ventures. Schwartz continues to contribute to the development of the XRP Ledger and recently discussed building blocks for institutional DeFi applications on the XRPL at the XRP Community Day event. Additionally, Ripple announced a new addition to its University Blockchain Research Initiative program, with Yonsei University in South Korea becoming its 58th UBRI partner globally. The partnership will lead to groundbreaking blockchain research across various fields and include the launch of an XRPL validator at the university.
