Fewer Women Own Crypto Than Men, But They HODL Just as Well: Report

According to a report by cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, women are just as likely as men to hold cryptocurrencies for an extended period of time, also known as "HODLing." While there is still a gender gap in cryptocurrency investment, with more male investors than female, the report found that the number of people who bought digital assets and held onto them was the same for both sexes. The survey, which included participants from the US, UK, France, Turkey, and Singapore, revealed that Turkey had the highest percentage of cryptocurrency investors, followed by Singapore and the US. In the US, 10% of investors exclusively owned crypto through exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which have become popular investment vehicles for tracking cryptocurrency prices on stock exchanges. The approval of Bitcoin ETFs by the Securities and Exchange Commission in January was a highly successful launch.
