Ripple CTO Explains Why Ripple Stablecoin RLUSD May Cost More Than $1

The XRP community is eagerly anticipating the release of Ripple's USD-pegged stablecoin, RLUSD, before the end of the year. However, some oddities have been noticed in the pricing of the stablecoin, with one RLUSD being priced at 511 XRP, equivalent to $1,231. Ripple's CTO, David Schwartz, explained that this is due to the initial shortage of supply and the willingness of some individuals to pay a high price for a tiny share of RLUSD. Schwartz assures that once the supply stabilizes, the price will return to $1 per RLUSD. He warns against FOMO (fear of missing out) on stablecoins, stating that they are not an opportunity to get rich.
