Crypto Policy Didn't Occupy the Spotlight in Elections in Austria, Georgia

The recent elections in Austria and Georgia did not prioritize crypto as a key issue to sway voters, in contrast to Japan where there was a significant emphasis on the sector. While many countries in Europe had already established their crypto regulations before their elections, the US saw frequent discussions on crypto leading up to the general election. In the European Union, crypto policy is not a partisan issue, as evidenced by the EU Parliament election where no single party focused more on crypto. The far-right Freedom Party won in Austria's parliamentary election, but other parties have stated they will not work with them. Georgia, an EU candidate, implemented regulations for crypto companies to register by 2023 and saw the ruling Georgian Dream Party secure the majority of votes. The elections were seen as a choice between aligning with Europe or Russia.
