Bitcoin's price surged above $68,000 and reached a multi-day peak of $68,500. Altcoins like BNB and ETH also experienced gains. The volatility was driven by FUD around Tether but quickly recovered. Elon Musk's DOGE-related meme caused a 3-4% increase in Dogecoin's price. Polkadot saw a 4% increase, while other altcoins like SOL, RP, TON, ADA, AVAX, SHIB, BCH, and LINK also saw gains. TRX, LEO, and SUI experienced losses. The total crypto market cap is now at $2.420 trillion.
