CandleFocus Atom Accelerator and Neutron invest $500,000 in CosmWasm

Atom Accelerator (AADAO) and Neutron, two organizations on Cosmos Hub, have pledged $250,000 each to support the development and maintenance of Confio's CosmWasm in 2025. CosmWasm is a smart contract framework that has been adopted by nearly 100 blockchain networks and allows developers to build decentralized applications across the Cosmos interchain. The funding from Atom and Neutron aims to secure priority consideration in Confio's future endeavors and encourage other stakeholders to contribute. The newly launched CosmWasm Coalition, of which Atom and Neutron are part, aims to raise $2 million to support the growth of CosmWasm in 2025. The funding will be used for security, performance optimization, feature development, SDK compatibility, and improving the developer experience. The Cosmos Hub and its consumer chains see CosmWasm as an essential component of their network, making the fresh funds crucial for the ecosystem as a whole.
