- – The crypto community-backed philanthropic initiative has announced the establishment of a charity crypto debit card that will allow Ukrainian customers to access finances and humanitarian relief. It previously got a USD 2.5 million cash injection from Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
- – The organization Unchain Fund announced the debut of the Unchain Help Card in press releases shared with the media. The card is an “online payment system that will transmit monies contributed to the particular project to Ukrainian moms afflicted by the war,” according to the charity, while “it will seem like a regular simulated MasterCard for those getting assistance.”
Within a week of getting “more than 12,000 submissions,” the organization claimed that 2,000 cards were already being granted. However, it is trying to gather funding to release hundreds further after obtaining “more than 12,000 mobile apps.”
The card, which is now being founded by Unex Bank, may be used between in purchases and withdrawing money, with “qualified persons” receiving a weekly allotment of slightly over USD 27.

“Candidates must pass a basic verification system using Unchain’s robot and produce either their permanent ID through the Ukrainian e-government system Diia, or evidence of identification and tax code, as well as their baby’s birth records.”
