The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency has recently seen a decrease of nearly 10%, accompanied by over 49 million tokens being burned in a 24 hour period. The Shiba Inu price also saw a dip of 15% before reversing and increasing by 6.77% since Tuesday, Nov 14th. Simultanious to this, metrics regarding the Layer-2 blockchain show a decrease in transactions and connected wallets. According to Shibariumscan explorer the total transaction count is close to four million but has seen a decrease of only 100,000 new transactions over the past couple of weeks. Connected wallets on Shibarium also explain this trend as it has seen a modest increase of around 6,000 from two weeks ago.
