Ripple is focusing on asset tokenization and interoperability services for banking institutions in its next phases of growth, according to cryptocurrency veteran Austin King. Ripple has recently made several acquisitions, including Metaco and Standard Custody, and has launched its Ripple USD stablecoin. These moves highlight Ripple's emphasis on B2B tokenization. King believes that Ripple's strategy is to tokenize assets on the XRP Ledger to benefit from tokenization fees and transaction fees. Ripple may also expand its tokenization offering to other blockchains. XRP, the core cryptocurrency of the XRP Ledger, has seen a 7.8% increase in 24 hours, trading at $2.56. The market cap of the RLUSD stablecoin is $53 million.
