What is Ripple’s plan for XRP after acquiring $250M+ in companies?

Ripple has made several acquisitions worth over $250 million in an effort to increase the presence of its token, XRP, in global banking. Austin King, co-founder of Omni network, who sold his company to Ripple, believes that the acquisitions were made with the intention of expanding into tokenizing crypto assets for banks. One of the acquisitions, Metaco, enables banks to offer their customers crypto products through custody services. Ripple aims to make the XRP ledger the global center for tokenization across banks, allowing for the transfer of assets across multiple chains. King also believes that the future of XRP lies in tokenization and transaction fees, and that it can potentially earn more revenue through fee mechanisms once its tokenization service is established.
