Richard Heart tells court full of US investors that HEX wasn’t aimed at them

Richard Heart's lawyers argued in court for the dismissal of the SEC's lawsuit against him and his crypto projects HEX, Pulsechain, and PulseX. The argument primarily focused on jurisdiction, with Heart claiming that he lived abroad during the relevant time periods and that the entities in question are not subject to US court jurisdiction. Heart's lawyers also questioned the SEC's ability to plausibly allege a domestic securities transaction and how the transactions passed the Howey Test. A bystander claimed that they seemed to have won on the jurisdictional argument, but the judge has not yet made a determination. Heart's lawyers also sought to discredit the SEC's fraud claims by emphasizing disclaimers and other factors. The judge will decide whether the case will continue or be dismissed within a few days.
