Litecoin (LTC) has been one of the most active cryptocurrencies in February, with its price maintaining a strong bullish performance. The recent uptick in price is in line with increasing derivatives activity and the highest futures open interest in four years. The growing interest in Litecoin may be driven by optimism surrounding potential ETF approvals, as the SEC has given the green light for public comments on the Coinshares Litecoin ETF proposal. However, the approval may not happen before the end of February, leaving room for potential downside. Despite this, the robust open interest suggests that the cryptocurrency's downside may be limited.
