Kanye West says he drops coin next week, claims all current ones are fake

Kanye West, now going by the name Ye, has announced the launch of a new cryptocurrency called YZY. He claims that every other existing coin is "fake." Ye's goal is to create a financial ecosystem for his brand that is resistant to censorship. Initially, he sought an 80% stake in YZY but settled for 70%, with 10% for liquidity and 20% for investors. The launch, originally planned for Thursday, was delayed until Friday. This follows the trend of other celebrities launching their own cryptocurrencies, including Donald Trump's TRUMP coin. Argentina's President, Javier Milei, recently endorsed the LIBRA coin, resulting in its collapse.
