How much bitcoin will Ross Ulbricht have if Trump sets him free?

Ross Ulbricht, the operator of the darknet market Silk Road, held 144,000 bitcoins worth $28.5 million before his conviction. The US government seized some of the bitcoins, as did a hacker and North Korean hackers. The government auctioned off Ulbricht's remaining bitcoins, and venture capitalist Tim Draper won nine of the auctions. Supporters are pushing for clemency for Ulbricht, including a Change.org petition with over 600,000 signatures. His mother has sold his physical art and an NFT of his hand-drawn art, raising funds for various causes. Ulbricht's website accepts crypto donations, and his current assets are unknown. Incoming President Donald Trump has promised to release Ulbricht from federal prison by January 21, 2025.
