Hailey Welch, also known as the "Hawk Tuah" girl, introduced a memecoin called HAWK, which quickly saw its value plummet by over 95%. The token initially reached a market cap of $500 million but has since dropped to around $20 million with trading volume under $500,000. Criticism of the memecoin led to an exposé video on YouTube and Welch hosting an X Spaces call, which ended abruptly. Welch's lawyer responded to the criticism, stating that only a small portion of the tokens belonged to her. The token is now facing a death spiral as investors continue to sell and the liquidity pool diminishes.
