Payments infrastructure firm Mercuryo has partnered with Telegram's built-in cryptocurrency platform Wallet to allow users to buy digital assets using traditional currencies. This integration is expected to simplify the process of converting fiat currency into crypto and reduce fees. The collaboration aims to bring millions of new users into the crypto space and supports various digital assets including Bitcoin and Toncoin. The integration with Wallet aligns with Telegram's strategy of making crypto more accessible to its user base of over 900 million people.
