Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors, predicts that Bitcoin will be weak in the short term but strong in the long term. He believes that Bitcoin will be one of the best-performing assets this year but warns of short-term challenges. Lee suggests that Bitcoin could fall to as low as $70,000 in February before recovering, which he sees as a buying opportunity. He attributes the recent decline in Bitcoin to market liquidation. However, Lee cautions that BTC is still a risky asset in the short term.
