Quant analyst PlanB predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will experience more parabolic rallies and reach high price targets by the end of this year. PlanB examines Bitcoin's monthly relative strength index (RSI) and notes that historically, during the peak of bull markets, BTC goes through multiple months with its RSI above 80. With the monthly RSI approaching 80, PlanB expects a minimum BTC price of $270,000 this year based on the average gains during periods when the RSI was at such levels. At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $96,789.
