LayerZero has been chosen as the interoperability provider for BitGo's Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), allowing the token to expand to Avalanche and BNB Chain. This decision has caused the price of LayerZero's native token, ZRO, to rebound. BitGo will use LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard to facilitate seamless and cost-effective transfers of WBTC across different networks. The ZRO token recently experienced a bullish breakout following LayerZero's selection, reaching a daily high of $3.63. With the continued development of interoperability solutions and the expansion of WBTC, both LayerZero and ZRO are expected to gain increased visibility and adoption in the crypto ecosystem.
