Ripple, a cryptocurrency, has reportedly been hacked with approximately 213 million XRP, worth around $112.5 million, stolen. The suspicious transfers were flagged by on-chain investigator ZachXBT and were traced back to a wallet allegedly activated by Chris Larsen, the Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Ripple. The stolen funds were funneled through several exchanges including Gate, Binance, Kraken, OKX, HTX, HitBTC, and MEXC. Larsen clarified that it was his personal Ripple accounts that were compromised, not Ripple's corporate assets. He reassured his followers that the breach had been identified quickly and exchanges were contacted to freeze the affected addresses. Larsen stated that efforts were being made to recover the remaining funds with the involvement of law enforcement.
