The XRP Ledger is set to receive new updates in the upcoming rippled version 2.3.0 -rc2, which will bring new functionalities and improvements. Some of the amendments include Multi Purpose Tokens (MPT), a token standard for RWA tokenization, and the AMMClawback feature, which allows tokens like the upcoming Ripple Stablecoin RLUSD to be used in the AMM. The update also introduces Credentials, which extends the deposit authorization feature, and NFTokenMintOffer, which combines minting and NFT creation. Additionally, price oracles are now live on XRPL, and three new XRPL specs for Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) have been proposed.
