The XRP cryptocurrency, affiliated with Ripple, has reached new record highs on various spot cryptocurrency exchanges. After experiencing a 91% correction in 2018 and nearly dropping out of the CoinMarketCap top 10 in 2020 due to a lawsuit by the SEC, XRP has emerged victorious in court. The token recently surged to a lifetime peak of $3.38 on the Kraken exchange and has outperformed other major cryptocurrencies, increasing by more than 30% in the past four days. Speculation that the US may create a strategic reserve of American cryptocurrencies, including XRP, has also contributed to its record peak. XRP bulls remain confident despite the SEC's appeal, as they believe the case will be dropped after SEC Chair Gary Gensler's departure. Additionally, there is potential for XRP to have its own cryptocurrency ETF in the US, which could attract significant inflows.
