World (formerly known as Worldcoin) has introduced a new messaging tool called World Chat, which is integrated into the World App. This feature allows users to send messages and conduct crypto transactions within the World Network, enhancing communication and digital transactions. The Mini App, as it is called, is a lightweight web-based application that developers can use to access a user base of over 24 million, including 11.3 million verified users. It is designed to reduce bot-driven spam and fraud, offering an added layer of trust for verified users. However, despite the expansion of World and the verification of over 10 million people on its network, its native token, WLD, has experienced a significant drop in value, falling below $1. Regulatory scrutiny and concerns over World's compliance with privacy laws have posed challenges for the project. World maintains that it adheres to all regulations in its operating regions.
