The native token of Virtuals Protocol, VIRTUAL, has experienced a significant decline, dropping by 17% in the past 24 hours to approximately $1.30. This comes after a previous surge of 28% when South Korea's top crypto exchange Upbit announced the listing of VIRTUAL. However, the price increase was short-lived, and the token has now shaved off 50% of its value from its post-listing peak. The market cap of VIRTUAL has also decreased by 31% in the past week. Despite this, the token still has strong liquidity and a 7% increase in 24-hour trading volume. A recent post by Kyle Chasse suggests optimism for VIRTUAL and the broader AI agent narrative.
