Bradley Tusk, CEO of Tusk Ventures, has heavily criticized SEC Chair Gary Gensler, calling him the "single worst regulator in the history of crypto imaginable." Tusk expressed frustration over Gensler's handling of cryptocurrency regulations and highlighted the difficulties crypto investors face under his leadership. Tusk favors the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) over the SEC in the ongoing turf war on crypto regulation. He believes a clearer regulatory framework is necessary for the industry to progress. Tusk also mentioned that the forthcoming presidential election could bring clarity to crypto policy, noting that both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are courting the crypto community for support. Tusk sees this as a win-win situation for crypto investors as either candidate may replace Gensler at the SEC, giving the industry a boost. Kamala Harris recently issued a statement promising to clarify crypto regulations if she becomes president, which has boosted investor confidence and led to an increase in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' prices.
