Trust Wallet has temporarily suspended Transak's fiat-to-crypto payment service after the Miami-based firm experienced a data breach. Hackers gained unauthorized access to a third-party employee's laptop, allowing them to obtain personal data belonging to over 92,554 users. Less than 2% of Transak's users were impacted, and the company is working with law enforcement to investigate the incident. Other crypto wallet companies that use Transak's services may also pause support until the situation is resolved. The stolen data has not been misused so far, but affected users are advised to remain vigilant.
