Transak has integrated with MiniPay, Opera's dollar stablecoin wallet, allowing users to engage with stablecoins and make cross-border payments more affordable. The partnership enables operations with mainstream stablecoins such as cUSD, USDT, and USDC, and provides on- and off-ramping services in over 50 countries. For a limited time, users will be able to transact with stablecoins without fees, promoting adoption and inclusiveness. MiniPay offers low-cost transfers with fees as low as $0.001 per transaction thanks to the efficiency of the Celo blockchain. Users can purchase stablecoins with local currencies and withdraw funds by converting stablecoins into local currencies. The partnership aims to expand stablecoin adoption and make cross-border transactions more accessible and affordable. MiniPay has seen strong adoption since its launch in September 2023, surpassing five million activated wallets.
