Tapswap, a tap-to-earn game on Telegram, has once again delayed its token generation event (TGE), disappointing users who have been mining new coins for months. The delay is due to a recent statement from Telegram, which now requires all token generation events to happen exclusively on the TON Blockchain. Previously, Tapswap had planned to leverage the BNB Chain for its airdrop. The TON ecosystem is relatively small compared to BNB, and many tokens in the TON network, including Hamster Kombat and Notcoin, have crashed after their airdrops. Tapswap has a history of delays, but the team has used the extra time to develop a skills game powered by the TAPS token and create incentives to prevent holders from selling. However, it is expected that the TAPS token will still crash after the airdrop due to the track record of tap-to-earn tokens and the bear market conditions in the crypto industry.
