Circle, the issuer of the second-largest stablecoin, USDC, will be moving its global headquarters to One World Trade Center in New York City. The move is set to be officially announced on Friday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by New York Mayor Eric Adams. Circle considers the move to be more than just an office, aiming to create a powerful convening space for the crypto industry and global leaders. The relocation of Circle's headquarters comes as the company plans to move its legal headquarters from Ireland to the US ahead of its upcoming initial public offering. USDC has a market cap of $34 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $6.37 billion.
