The company's CEO, Park Kwan-ho, believes that blockchain's transparency and data interoperability can help build trust in virtual services. Wemade has already launched blockchain-based platforms, such as WeMixPlay and WePublic, and now aims to expand their adoption globally. However, specific details about the upcoming blockchain-powered communities and their launch timeline have not been disclosed. Wemade previously partnered with Whampoa Digital to establish a $100 million web3 fund focused on blockchain gaming projects in the Middle East.
