Sonic Labs has integrated Circle's bridged version of the stablecoin USDC on its Ethereum virtual machine layer-1 chain Sonic. The bridged USDC will allow developers to build decentralized applications on Sonic with contract addresses that remain consistent even if the network upgrades to native USDC. By bringing bridged USDC to its ecosystem, Sonic aims to boost developer activity and improve user experience on decentralized exchanges. Sonic users can obtain bridged USDC from Ethereum, Solana, Fantom, and other blockchains and DEXs. This integration follows Circle's partnership with Binance and its achievement of meeting Canada's new regulations. Additionally, Sonic has made progress in integrating Aave and has secured partnerships with Curve Finance, KyberSwap, and Sushi.
