Solana apps generated $751 million in revenues in the last quarter of 2024, compared to Ethereum's $314 million. The top revenue producers on Solana were the Raydium DEX, JitoSOL, and Metaplex, showcasing the potential of Solana-based platforms for token creation. Despite being known for lending and DeFi, Ethereum lagged behind Solana in terms of economic activity. Solana's active app ecosystem has attracted more developers, surpassing Ethereum in developer inflow. The success of Solana's app ecosystem is expected to drive the price of SOL tokens higher in 2025.
