Grayscale has filed for an XRP spot ETF on the NYSE, joining other companies such as Canary Capital and Bitwise. There is also talk of BlackRock and other companies considering their own ETF applications for XRP and other cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin and Litecoin. The SEC has acknowledged Litecoin's ETF application, but Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart suggests that XRP's ongoing lawsuit regarding its status as a security may hinder its ETF approval. He believes that ETFs for other cryptocurrencies, like Litecoin, may be prioritized.
