Ripple's chief legal officer, Stuart Alderoty, shared an image on Twitter that appears to be a parody of an artwork owned by crypto billionaire Justin Sun. The artwork, titled "Not a Security," features an orange taped to canvas, contrasting with Sun's artwork "Comedian," which showcased a banana held against canvas with tape. Alderoty's tweet references the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and its boss Gary Gensler, who consider most altcoins to be unregistered securities. The XRP community, which has been embroiled in a legal battle with the SEC, found amusement in Alderoty's tweet. The news coincided with Gensler's announcement of his upcoming resignation, which was celebrated by Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
