Ripple recently announced the launch of a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin called RLUSD, aiming to compete with Tether's dominance in the stablecoin market. The development of RLUSD is being overseen by Ripple's exchange partners, market makers, and advisory board. Ripple's pursuit of various projects could benefit XRP, which is currently trading at $0.5605 with a market cap of $31.75 billion.
