Former Goldman Sachs executive and crypto enthusiast, Raoul Pal, shared his current crypto investment strategy, which sparked a back-and-forth with MicroStrategy CEO, Michael Saylor. Pal revealed that his main crypto bets are Solana, Sui, and meme coins like Smoking Chicken Fish and Dogecoin. He also mentioned a focus on cultural NFTs. Saylor suggested that Pal is less focused on Bitcoin, but Pal explained that his job requires him to take risks and invest in other assets. Bitcoin supporters criticized Pal's promotion of "sh*tcoins," but Pal defended his strategy, stating that he has outperformed Bitcoin since his initial investment and prioritizes returns over loyalty to any particular crypto asset. Pal also emphasized his goal of generating profit and contributing to the growth of Web3, clarifying that he does not hold Ethereum in his portfolio aside from NFTs.
