Pump.fun, a Solana-based marketplace for creating and distributing custom tokens, has issued a warning to U.S. users, suggesting potential regulatory scrutiny that could impact access to the site. The platform has gained attention for allowing users to mint and trade their own tokens, particularly memecoins. It has generated $100 million in revenue from over one million memecoins since its launch in January. Pump.fun has created 6,956 new tokens for the Solana blockchain in the past 24 hours and has a total of 1,976,385 tokens launched. Notable memecoins on the platform include Dogwifhat (WIF) and BOOK OF MEME (BOME). Solana project accelerator Orbitt has announced its support for Pump.Fun, which will help attract more volume and sustain growth for the platform's projects.
