Powerloom, a composable data layer for onchain applications, has launched its L2 mainnet on the Ethereum network. The mainnet release follows extensive testing and aims to eliminate traditional barriers of cost and complexity in accessing accurate onchain data. Powerloom's infrastructure includes over 5,300 globally distributed "Snapshotter" nodes that deliver real-time datasets to dApp developers without relying on external oracles. The protocol aims to solve the data bottleneck in Web3 projects by providing verified and adaptable datasets for consumer applications. Powerloom's L2 leverages the OP Stack and Conduit's Rollup-as-a-Service architecture for scalability and robustness. The mainnet initially incentivizes submissions from Uniswap V2 markets and plans to integrate other data markets in the future. The platform's utility token, $POWER, facilitates staking, rewards, and community engagement. Powerloom aims to provide real-time datasets for intuitive user experiences and support the widespread adoption of DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, and AI agents.
