Phantom Wallet experienced a surge in traffic and completed $1.25 billion in swaps after the launch of the Official Trump (TRUMP) token on Solana. However, users experienced delays in transactions. The launch of TRUMP token generated mainstream interest in Solana, with searches peaking on Google. Phantom Wallet was the most popular finance app in the USA and in other crypto-friendly markets. Solana saw a large number of transactions and workload from DEX routing and token swaps, leading to issues such as failed transactions and lost funds. Despite the challenges, Phantom handled the surge well. Jito SOL block-building engine and Jupiter DEX also faced stress and service outages. Raydium, Orca, and JitoSOL were the biggest fee producers on Solana. Solana's transaction success rate increased during the surge, and the traffic on the network was concentrated on meme token trades and swaps. Overall, Solana experienced a high level of activity and increased daily volumes.
