Ethereum-based trading card game Parallel hosted its first-ever Parallel League Championship esports competition, with professional Hearthstone player Jaromír "Jarla" Vyskočil emerging as the first-ever Parallel TCG World Champion and winning $100,000. The two-day event featured 16 top Parallel players competing for a total prize pool of $250,000. On the first day, Parallel also announced its upcoming third-person extraction shooter game called Parallel: Sanctuary. On the second day, Parallel Studios revealed plans to release a mobile app for its trading card game on March 18. Parallel Studios has committed a total of $1 million in prize money for the upcoming second season of the Parallel League.
