Eigen Layer, a protocol built on Ethereum, has partnered with Nuff to develop a new staking protocol. This partnership aims to expand Eigen Layer's ecosystem support and improve its fundamental features, with the goal of becoming the standard restaking platform for open innovation. The Nuff Protocol, being developed by Eigen Layer, will introduce a universal restaking protocol that allows users to reuse their staked ETH or liquid staking token (LST) to provide security for additional applications on the network and earn extra rewards. This will help secure many services on Ethereum by providing pooled security, reducing capital costs for stakers and increasing trust guarantees for individual services. The Nuff Protocol will also enhance the restaking economy by allowing restakers to earn rewards and provide security directly from their original chains, eliminating bridged asset risk and adding more asset types for price discovery. Additionally, it will help AVSs (Application Specific Validators) take advantage of new features, minimize security expenses, and streamline development processes.
