ZachXBT, an on-chain investigator, has submitted information to Arkham Intelligence regarding the $1.4 billion hack on Bybit. ZachXBT believes that an organization, possibly a nation-state threat actor, is responsible for the attack, contrary to earlier assumptions of a single entity. Arkham had offered a 50K ARKM bounty to gather intelligence on the hackers, which ZachXBT claims to have provided using on-chain data. Speculation has arisen that North Korean hackers could be behind the attack, with Conor Grogan, Head of Product at Coinbase, also expressing this belief and noting that the hacker now holds the 14th largest amount of ETH in the world.
