The Neo Council has approved a reduction in network and system fees on the Neo N3 MainNet, aiming to make the blockchain more cost-effective and efficient based on feedback from ecosystem projects. The fee adjustments will significantly decrease the cost of GAS transactions, making them nearly five times cheaper. These fee changes require a vote from the Neo Council, and the Core Developer group is also working on network performance upgrades to strengthen Neo's position in the blockchain ecosystem.
