Music Protocol aims to transform ownership in the music industry by bringing music royalties onto the blockchain as digital assets, allowing for easier trading and management of music intellectual property. By leveraging Plume Network's blockchain infrastructure, the partnership hopes to unlock new opportunities for artists, investors, and copyright holders. The collaboration also aims to create new revenue streams and expand accessibility to real-world asset (RWA) music through financial support from a Plume Foundation grant. Plume Network has been actively expanding its cross-chain integration and has previously partnered with Mercado Bitcoin to tokenize $40 million in RWA.
