Crypto exchange Kraken has partnered with EigenLayer to allow users to restake Ethereum (ETH) directly from the platform. Restaking, which allows validators and stakers to secure decentralized applications on Ethereum, has primarily been used by tech-savvy users, but the integration aims to bring it to a wider audience. The partnership will enable Kraken users to restake any ETH they've already staked on the platform and earn additional rewards. EigenLayer's total value locked (TVL) has declined in recent months, but the integration with Kraken could potentially increase participation and boost EigenLayer's TVL in the future.
