Blockchain protocol Kaspa has announced the successful transition of its Testnet 10 (TN10) to a block rate of 10 blocks per second (BPS), following its expansive Crescendo Hardfork. The upgrade aims to increase the network's block rate from 1 to 10 BPS, making Kaspa one of the fastest Proof-of-Work (PoW) blockchains. The transition on TN10 confirmed the correctness of the upgrade's logic, and Kaspa will now focus on other innovations outlined in its roadmap, with a feature freeze expected by March 20. The full mainnet activation is targeted for late April/early May 2025. The successful transition sets the stage for the next milestone in Kaspa's blockchain infrastructure.
