The IOTA Rebased test network has onboarded a new set of trusted validators, highlighting the network's commitment to building a strong infrastructure for its upcoming mainnet launch. These validators, who have secured billions in assets, are expected to bring trusted validation and enterprise-grade security to IOTA. They will also play a crucial role in upholding the network's security, reliability, and decentralization. The validators include stakefish, Allnodes, Realize, Infrasingularity, Coinage x DAIC, and keyring, among others. Their involvement reinforces the network's foundation and reflects confidence in IOTA Rebased. The validators will contribute their expertise to ensure IOTA's decentralization, innovation, and collaboration. The onboarding process for validators is ongoing, and more are expected to join in the coming weeks. The mainnet launch is set for later this year, following essential conditions and a two-month testnet phase. The IOTA Rebased protocol upgrade will bring scalability, programmability, and decentralization improvements, with a consensus switch and a fee burn mechanism to reduce transaction fees.
