Immutable, a blockchain protocol, has introduced a new feature called Pre-Approved Transactions to simplify the gaming experience for players in the Web3 environment. The feature eliminates the need for players to approve transactions or interact with wallets outside of games by integrating transaction approvals directly into the game interface. The company aims to make Web3 games seamless and immersive, allowing gamers to trade items, buy from marketplaces, or create new in-game assets more easily. The implementation process is simple for developers, who have control over the transaction interface to match the game's aesthetics. The feature currently only works with game-issued assets but plans are in place to expand it to support IMX, USD Coin, and Ether.
